The day after our programme launch, festival founders Lin Anderson and Alex Gray attended the Scottish Thistle Awards at The Hub in Edinburgh. We were nominated for the Scotrail – Best Cultural Event for the region of Central South East, and we’re delighted to announce that we won!

Run by VisitScotland, the Scottish Thistle Awards are designed to discover and celebrate excellence and innovation by the Scottish tourism industry for its visitors. We are delighted to be recognised for such an award – especially in our first year. We will now be joining all of the other regional winners and proceeding to the national Thistle Awards which will take place on Friday 15 November.
