Guillermo Arriaga is a Mexican author, screenwriter, director and producer whose novels have been translated into 18 languages. The epic and enthralling Untameable is set in 1960s Mexico City, a time and place where justice was sold to the highest bidder. Arriaga is also an Oscar-nominated and Bafta-winning screenwriter for the drama Babel.
Jeanine Cummins is the author of one of the most talked about and controversial books of 2020, the extraordinary American Dirt which sold over two million copies worldwide. Set in Acapulco, a city in the grip of a drug cartel, it vividly tells of the astonishing lengths a mother will go to save her son.
This event will be chaired by author and Mexico City native Oscar de Muriel who will be live in the Albert Halls.
