The True Crime Walking Tour

Sunday 12th September - Various Times

We are delighted to be able to offer our popular true crime walking tours again for 2025. Colin Sinclair is your guide to Stirling’s ancient streets and grand facades and the dark secrets they hide. He has tales of crimes of passion, honour and avarice – and murder. These foul deeds are in the past, but there’s still evidence of them, and he knows where to look. Your tour will explore some of the most notorious acts in the city’s history and the characters involved, from the macabre to the colourful. The walk will start outside the Golden Lion and last for around one hour, winding through graveyards and vennels, covering several crimes and criminals from nineteenth and twentieth century Stirling. The final grisly tale will be shared over a dram, included in the booking price, in a historic local pub.
