Deadlier Than The Male: Asia Mackay, DG Coutinho, Katy Brent

Saturday 13th September - 10:00

Female serial killers didn’t used to be funny – or sexy, sophisticated and sympathetic – but a rush of novels and TV shows have changed all that for the better.
A married couple have seemingly given up their murderous lifestyle for suburbia in Asia Mackay’s stylish and sassy A Serial Killer’s Guide to Marriage. Office politics are a brutal and bloody business in DG Coutinho’s deliciously dark debut The Light and Shade of Ellen Swithin. Kitty Collins, serial killer, is the unlikely heroine making a gratifying return in Katy Brent’s fiendishly funny I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin.
This event will be chaired by journalist Teddy Jamieson.
